Splash wins at the Dubai Lynx Awards 2008
Splash, the leading Dubai-based international fashion house won the Silver award at the Dubai Lynx Awards 2008 in the interactive category for the company’s revamped website www.splashfashions.com. The Middle East and North Africa Advertising Awards that recognize creative excellence in television/cinema, print, outdoor, radio, direct marketing, media and interactive advertising, was held at the Sheikh Rashid Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The 2nd Dubai Lynx Awards were presented by the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival that saw marketing and advertising executives from across the region come together for the first Dubai International Advertising Festival.

Splash won the silver award amongst 26 short-listed finalists in the Interactive category which saw stiff competition from several international brands as well as regional giants.

The jury for the Interactive & Direct category comprised of nine of the world’s most prominent representatives from the advertising and marketing fraternity, who together with the jury President Wolfgang Haf, CEO, Wunderman Central Europe, evaluated the entries.

Having recently completed its 15th anniversary celebrations Splash seems to be on a roll. The Silver Dubai Lynx Award comes close on the heels of the second consecutive Retail ME Award that Splash won for ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ in March 2008.
