Southern Asia’s preferred international carrier, SriLankan Airlines will mount a strong presence at the forthcoming Arabian Travel Market scheduled to take place at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre (DICEC) from May 1st to 4th.

Our objective of participating at this year’s event is to network with the industry's leading travel trade professionals, explore the business potential within the Middle East and Pan Arab region as well as renew contacts with key market players from six continents,” said Desiree Premachandra, SriLankan Airlines Country Manager for UAE and Russia.

She noted that ATM provided them with a four-day program of pre-confirmed intensive meeting sessions, seminars as well as social networking opportunities with fellow professionals interested in doing business with SriLankan Airlines and the destination.

SriLankan Airlines 39 square metre stand at the event is strategically located in Hall#6 of the DICEC and is open on four sides with ample space for meetings that have been lined up for senior executives of the airline.

Effective route management is playing a vital role in SriLankan Airlines’ growth in the region. The airline recently launched twice weekly flights to Jeddah. Jeddah is the airlines’ 51st destination in a network spanning 28 countries.

SriLankan Airlines operates a full Airbus fleet to 51 destinations in 28 countries worldwide. Flights from the Middle East to Colombo connect with onward services to the Maldives, ten key destinations in India, seven destinations in the Far East including Malaysia, Singapore, China and Thailand.

About SriLankan Airlines
SriLankan Airlines is expanding its Middle East operations, most recently adding two weekly services to Jeddah to its network starting March 27. The airline also increased its frequencies into Qatar and Bahrain recently, taking the airlines total frequencies into the Middle East to 45 flights a week. The airline has also recently opened up new routes into Asia adding a third weekly service to Goa and launching double daily services to Mumbai earlier this year. The growing number of services to India takes SriLankan Airlines closer to the 100 flights a week mark, and reinforces its position as the foreign carrier with the most number of frequencies into ten key cities across India.
