With solid state drives (SSD) tipped to be a solution for key challenges that enterprises face, Kingston Technology is hedging its bets that this year SSD technology will revolutionize the business computing platform and see mainstream adoption.
Kingston Technology recently commissioned an independent test that shows how upgrading a PC from HDD to SSD can improve the performance of older PCs by 50% and brand new PCs by 27% . To enable enterprises to quantify this, Kingston Technology has released an easy to use interactive Kingston SSDNow Return on Investment (ROI) Calculator to help IT decision makers understand how SSDs can deliver immediate ROI to the client computing platform.

Kingston Technology will also showcase the next major milestone in flash memory for USB products with the DataTraveler Ultimate 3.0, the company's first USB 3.0 flash drive offering in the marketplace. USB 3.0 offers the same ease-of-use and plug and play capabilities as previous generations of USB technologies but with a performance increase and better power management.
"The DataTravelerâ Ultimate 3.0 features the latest technology for USB Flash drives, making it ideal for early adopters who want to take advantage of all the performance improvements offered by USB 3.0 right away," added Harb.
Apart from its SSD and flash offerings, Kingston Technology will also showcase the HyperX Range of memory products, as well as its secure USB range.
