DIFF was launched in 2004, with the theme and important objective of using the medium of film as a platform to address important world issues and to promote international understanding and cross-cultural dialogue on a global level.

Madinat Jumeirah is offering a number of exciting promotions during the festival for film fanatics including a spectacular 30% off on food and beverage at selected outlets between 6pm – 7:30pm from the 11th to the 17th of December (inclusive) in order for movie goers to enjoy dining in 21 restaurants and bars prior to watching any movie screenings at the resort.
In addition, Madinat Jumeirah is offering 25% off on selected spa treatments throughout the DIFF period at the resort’s Six Senses Spa.
