Star Trek’s Patrick Stewart has gotten married to long time love Wendy Nuess, reported ABC online.
The ceremony took place Saturday in Los Angeles, with Trek co-star Brent Spiner serving as best man, People magazine added.
The love match first bloomed on the set of Star Trek: The Next Generation, where Neuss was a production assistant and Stewart played some guy named Jean-Luc Picard.
Stewart, who kicked off a new sci-fi franchise with this summer’s X-Men, was previously married to choreographer Sheila Falconer. The union, which lasted from 1966 to 1990, produced two children, Daniel and Sophie.
No word on where the newlyweds plan to honeymoon; Stewart usually divides his time between London and his home in Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills-Albawaba.com.
