ALBAWABA - U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that American forces are closely monitoring enriched uranium locations and warned that any attempt to access them may result in an immediate military response, indicating a continued harsh attitude on Iran's nuclear program.
In a public statement, Trump stated that the US Space Force is in charge of monitoring Iran's subterranean nuclear stockpiles, which he described as being concealed deep within well guarded areas.
Additionally, he asserted that Iran has experienced substantial military failures, including the loss of important defensive capabilities and command structures. Trump claims that the US has already accomplished around 70% of its strategic goals, but he leaves open the prospect of additional strikes on the remaining targets in the upcoming weeks.
The president said that the action was required to stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons because doing so would directly jeopardize regional security.
Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, stated that the dispute is still unresolved and emphasized the significance of demolishing nuclear facilities and removing highly enriched uranium from Iran.
U.S. officials have reaffirmed this stance, stressing that Washington's long-term objective is to completely halt Iran's enrichment program in addition to neutralizing the country's current nuclear material.
Diplomatic efforts are still being made in the interim. Tehran has responded to a U.S. proposal through a Pakistani mediator, according to Iranian media, but authorities have indicated that they will continue to resist as talks move forward.
As both parties consider their next moves in a difficult regional climate, the developments underscore a protracted standoff between military coercion and diplomatic engagement.
