Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was due to meet British Foreign Secretary Jack Straw late Tuesday, and not Wednesday as earlier announced, Sharon's office said.
The talks would take place at 10:30 p.m. (2030 GMT), at Sharon's office in the defense ministry in Tel Aviv, a statement said.
Shaw arrived from Iran earlier Tuesday, and met his French counterpart Hubert Vedrine, who was winding up a three-day visit to the Middle East, at Ben Gurion airport.
Sharon had called off his talks with Shaw in protest at remarks by the latter implying a link between the September 11 terror attacks in the United States and Israel's treatment of the Palestinians.
They were reinstated after a telephone call between Sharon and British Prime Minister Tony Blair.
Straw would also be meeting Israeli Foreign Minister Shimon Peres Tuesday as originally scheduled, an official said -- JERUSALEM (AFP)
