ALBAWABA - Local media in Iran reported Sunday that the United States and Israel carried out airstrikes targeting Bandar Khamir city, near the Strait of Hormuz.
At least five people were killed and four others were injured in the strikes by the U.S. and Israel, the official IRNA news agency said.
"The American-Zionist enemy carried out a criminal attack at the quay of Bandar Khamir, killing five people and injuring four others," according to IRNA.
Earlier, a series of loud blasts was heard early morning today across the Iranian capital, an AFP journalist revealed.
The journalist mentioned that explosions were heard north of the Iranian capital and smoke was seen rising in the air.
