Saudi prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on Sunday received a message from Sudanese president Omar Hasan al-Bashir.
The message was handed over to Prince Abdullah by Sudanese foreign minister Mostafa Ismail during a meeting held in the Saudi Red Sea port city of Jeddah Sunday.
A Sudanese diplomatic source told the Kuwait News Agency that the message renews Sudan's support for the Saudi initiative for comprehensive Middle East peace, as a basis for any conference or agreement to solve the crisis.
The source added that the Sudanese minister's visit comes as part of preparations for the 29th meeting of the foreign ministers of the organization of Islamic conference (OIC), scheduled to take place in Sudan on June 25. (Albawaba.com)
