ALBAWABA - The United Nations reported on Wednesday that at least 40 people were killed in an attack on a funeral in the city of El-Obeid in the Kordofan region in Sudan.
The UN humanitarian office said that confirmed the attack on El-Obeid city; however, the date of the attack was not revealed in the statement.
"The security situation in the Kordofan region continues to worsen," the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs outlined.
