In central Sudan, clashes on a campus left four student demonstrators and three riot police officials "slightly" injured Wednesday, according to police.
The students at Gezira University's education faculty in Hassaheisah, some 140 kilometers southeast of the capital of Khartoum, were protesting the deteriorating conditions of their boarding houses, a police statement said, cited by AFP.
Riot police intervened after the demonstrators partially destroyed the faculty's offices, the statement added. (Albawaba.com)
