Sudan to Cooperate with Ethiopia to Expel Armed Opposition

Sudan stressed on Wednesday that it would cooperate with Ethiopia using all possible ways to expel the Sudanese opposition forces from Ethiopia, reported Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

In press statements, Sudanese foreign minister, Mustafa Ismael, praised the Ethiopian position that came against using their lands to execute a military attack on Sudan, considering this decision a proof of restoring relations between both states, said the agency.

Ismael asked the opposition to return to Sudan to achieve peace between all sides.

The Ethiopian government ordered the Sudanese opposition to leave Ethiopia within three days and set last Saturday as a deadline of carrying out evacuation, added KUNA.

Ismael said that some of the Security Council member states had changed their position about lifting sanctions on Sudan.

He hoped that the United States would have a positive stand toward the

Sudanese issue, according to the agency -
