The Sudanese National Press Council is to organize a seminar on the media and the conventions on women's and children's rights on Tuesday, reported the official Sudanese news agency, SUNA, on Sunday.
The seminar is co-organized by UNICEF, and the organizers hope to attract the participation of press institutions and experts.
Issues like slavery, using children as soldiers and circumcision of girls in Sudan and other African states have grabbed headlines, prompting human rights action around the world and– Albawaba.com
