Sudan President visits Saudi Kingdom

Sudan’s President, Omar al-Basher starts an official two-day visit to Saudi Arabia on Sunday.  

 

According to Sudanese diplomatic sources, cited by KUNA, President al-Basher is expected to discuss with vice custodian of the two holy mosques, Saudi Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz the latest developments on the international, Islamic and Arabic levels.  

 

In the course of their meeting, they are due to discuss the Palestinian issue especially, as well as the continual preparations made by Khartoum, to host the Prime Ministers conference of Islamic countries, to be held on June 25.  

 

Talks will focus on the outcome of Abdullah's latest visit to the United States, as well as the international efforts to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Palestinians, with an aim of returning the sides to the negotiations table, the sources added.  

 

Discussions will also include coordination of stands, regarding holding an international Middle East peace conference. (Albawaba.com)
