Sun inks partnership with Wipro
Deal strengthens two decade partnership and covers five GCC countries
Sun Microsystems has inked a partnership deal with Wipro to widen its reach within the GCC. Wipro will resell and integrate the entire suite of Sun systems, storage, software, and services to serve Sun’s customers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar.
The Sun-Wipro business partnership commenced almost two decades ago in 1989, with Wipro in India selling 3/50 and 3/60 workstations.
