Superstar Hisham Abbas returned to his fans Tuesday with the official launch of his new album “Ya Habiby… Talah Gamby” at Virgin Megastore, Mall of the Emirates. Hisham Abbas attended the launch in person to sign the Virgin Book, and pay tribute to his fans.
“Arab artists have always enjoyed the utmost admiration and support of Virgin Megastore. We are very delighted to host Hisham Abbas here on our premises where he can touch base with media and fans at the world’s biggest home of music and entertainment. We also take pride in delivering his good work to a huge number of music lovers around the region,” said Elie El Massih, Marketing Manager of Virgin Megastore.
The new album “Ya Habiby… Talah Gamby” features thirteen new tracks, including the duo hit “Ya Habiby” with Safia, the famous Turkish artist, currently hooking thousands of Arabic music lovers to major TV stations around the region. Produced by EMI, the new album is the 7th in Hisham Abbas’ professional music career.
The Egyptian Hisham Abbas rose to stardom in the 90’s with hits including “Wana Wana Wana”, “Eineha El Sood”, “Ta’ala”, “Ya Leila” and his massive success “Nari Narain” that gave the young artist wide international exposure. Hisham Abbas received a number of awards, most notably Orbit’s Arabic Song Award in 1997.
