ALBAWABA - Belgium's police reported that a synagogue in Liege city suffered damage following an explosion early Monday in Liege.

A police spokesperson said they are probing the reason behind the blast, but mentioned that no injuries were reported, "only material damage" to the synagogue.

The explosion was reported at around 4:00 a.m. local time in front of the synagogue, blowing out the windows of the buildings across the road, he added.

In addition, the French-speaking RTBF public broadcaster revealed that federal police rushed to the scene of the incident.
