Syrian Assistant Regional Secretary General of the Ba'ath Arab Socialist Party, Sulieman Qaddah reiterated on Saturday Syria's commitment to a just and comprehensive peace based on international references and the UN resolutions calling for the full Israeli withdrawal from the occupied Arab lands to the June 4th 1967 lines.

Receiving the chairman of the Syrian-Cuban friendship Assembly, Dr. Qaddah said, ''just and comprehensive peace based on the international references and the UN resolutions is the only way for realizing stability and security in the region.''

According to SANA, Dr. Qaddah underlined the development of the political situation in the region in light of the escalation of Israeli aggression and massacres against unarmed Palestinian civilians, which “exceeded Nazi and racial practices”.

On his part, the chairman of the Assembly asserted Cuba's support for Arab rights and the Palestinian struggle as to liberate the land and to establish the Palestinian independent state with Jerusalem as its capital. (Albawaba.com)
