Regime-led air strikes killed 10 civilians in northern Syria Tuesday and at least 34 Al Qaeda linked fighters have died in Idlib over the past three days, according to the Associated Press and Agence France-Presse.
Aleppo Media Center and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights told Associated Press Tuesday that the air strikes targeted the rebel-held town of Bzaa on Monday. Among the deceased were children.
Syrian regime forces have been targeting rebel towns throughout Syria's Aleppo province in recent weeks, leaving over 500 dead in a fortnight in December.
In related news from Syria's north, 34 foreign fighters affiliated with Al Qaeda-linked opposition groups have died in rebel-on-rebel fighting according to AFP Tuesday.
Most of the fighters were killed during a clash between Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and other rebels from affiliated with Jund Al Aqsa.
Most of the rebel-on-rebel infighting has taken place in Syria's Idlib and Aleppo provinces and has even spread to the eastern city of Raqaa.
