A governor official from Syria reported Thursday that that a roadside bomb targeting a bus killed 19 people in Homs province, according to reports from the Associated Press. The bomb, which exploded in Jbourin on Thursday, also injured four passengers as well. Why the bus was targeted is not yet clear. Jbourin is home to Christians, Sunnis and Alawites. The official who reported the bombing to the Associated Press spoke on the condition of anonymity.
