Syria criticized on Wednesday the US policy in the region, saying it contributes to complicate the situation of the Middle East. Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Faisal Miqdad underlined when meeting delegation of the American Peace Institution, currently on visit to Syria, “the current U.S. policy is contributing to complicate the situations in the region as well as it is hindering efforts aimed to achieve stability in the Middle East.”
According to SANA, Dr. Miqdad made a political review of the Syrian policy vis-à-vis political developments in the region and Syria’s stance toward circumstances in Palestine and Iraq.
