Assistant Secretary General of the Al-Baath Arab Socialist party Abdullah al-Ahmar on Sunday discussed with the Secretary General of the Yemeni Nasserite Unionist Public Organization Abdul Malek al-Mikhlafi the existing relations between both parties and the regional situation.
Talks between the two sides focused on the dangerous escalation in the occupied Palestinian territories due to Israeli terrorism against the Palestinian people.
In addition, they discussed the chaos, destruction and insecurity suffered by the Iraqi people under the occupation, according to SANA news agency.
Both sides stressed the importance of the role of Arab political and people’s parties in mobilizing forces and enhancing Arab joint work to confront existing challenges.
The two sides also emphasized the necessity of ending the Israeli occupation of Arab lands in the Golan, Shebaa Farms, the West Bank and Gaza to the June 4, 1967 line.
For his part, Mikhlafi expressed appreciation of Syria’s principled stances under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad in defending Arab rights.
Moreover, he expressed desire to further enhance existing relations between the two Parties for the best benefit of the two sisterly countries Syria and Yemen. (Albawaba.com)
