The official Tishrin and Al-Baath dailies on Saturday, in their first page editorials, dedicated their reports to the 33rd anniversary of the Correctionist movement, led by the late President Hafez Al-Assad.
Extending their thanks to President Al-Assad’s strategic vision and personality, the Correctionist movement has been able to “bring back the masses to the party and the positive action and to make of stability, construction and development as main characters of this movement”.
"Syria, which has opted for the course of the correction under the leadership of President Bashar Al-Assad is fully committed to the national constants and pan Arab solidarity in facing the conspiracies and all hegemonic schemes" Tishrin daily said, according to SANA.
On its part, the Syrian Al-Baath daily, in an article by assistant Secretary General of the Socialist Arab Baath party Abdullah Al-Ahmar, asserted that in spite of the “extremely difficult regional and international circumstances” during the past thirty years, the Correctionist movement has been able to build modern Syria without the support of the international monetary establishments.
In addition, the government paper said that the Syrian people, "who shoulder the process of development and modernization under the leadership of President Bashar Al-Assad" are deeply convinced that the country’s progress should be strong and comprehensive and based on a strong foundation, that has already been laid down.
"Adopting the course of the correction in the internal and pan Arab action will remain our criteria in measuring the rightness of the decision and the effectiveness of the choice”, it added. (Albawaba.com)
