Syrian Economy & Foreign Trade Minister visits Jordan

Syrian Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Ghassan Rifae, arrived on Saturday in Amman, leading an economic delegation for a three-day visit to Jordan.  

 

During his stay, the Minister is scheduled to hold economic talks with his Jordanian counterpart, Salahuldin Bashir. 

 

In a statement to reporters, Rifae said his visit marks a continuation of the existing exchange of visits between the two sides to discuss economic and trade issues and means to strengthen trade volume. In addition, he described the standing bilateral relations between both countries as excellent, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency. 

 

On his part, Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Farouk Hadidi also termed the standing bilateral relations as excellent, emphasizing the necessity to enhance ties to the best level possible. (Albawaba.com)
