The Italian Ambassador to Damascus Laura Mirakian gave on Sunday a lunch banquet in honor of Syria's Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara in the presence of European Union Countries’ Ambassadors to Syria.
During the meeting, al-Shara reviewed the latest regional and international developments.
"Syria is completely committed to the realization of a just settlement in the Middle East in line with the international legitimacy resolutions and land for peace formula," al-Shara underlined. "Israel has lost a lot of opportunities to achieve peace in the region through evading its commitments and through its hostile practices which were crowned by the building of the racial separation wall," the Syrian minister added.
