Under the patronage of Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad, a new batch of political military academy officers graduated on Wednesday.

The president was deputized by Deputy Commander in- Chief, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense First Lt. General Moustafa Tlass, SANA reported.

In a speech addressed to the fresh graduates, Tlass conveyed to them the best wishes of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad for further success in their missions.

He discussed the nature of the confrontation with Israel and "required efforts and potentials to prevent the enemy from achieving its evil intentions," SANA reported.

He also stressed that the Israeli policy of delusion had been uncovered by the steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance, the agency added.

Moreover, he emphasized that the practices of the "Zionist occupation" against the Palestinian people reflected the true image of the “racist Zionism”. (Albawaba.com)
