Syrian First Lady Asmaa al-Assad visited on Tuesday London’s Science Museum and toured its newly established pavilion.
Mrs. Assad discussed with museum officials the possibility of establishing a similar museum in Damascus. She said that such a study was underway for the last two years between the concerned ministries and would probably be followed up with the British Embassy or British Council.
In the meantime, the Syrian leader’s wife paid a similar visit to the British National Association for protecting children against violence. There, she exchanged views with association attendants on the importance of adopting a social policy specialized in protecting children, SANA news agency reported.
The Syrian First Lady stressed the role of Syrian children’s care concerned establishments and mentioned the Damascus-based Zaid Ben Hartha establishment and its activities. She further expressed hope over the possibility of cooperation between establishments.
Mrs. Assad also visited Queen’s College School, where she had studied in the past. The School's manager and teaching staff received her.
Moreover, the Syrian President’s wife visited Wales Prince charity establishment, where she reviewed various workshop charity activities. (Albawaba.com)
