Syrian Researcher Declares New Arabic Music Computer Program

Music historian and researcher Sadallah Qal’a has declared that a recent program will enable Arabs to research, define, sample and simply have fun with Arabic music on the Internet. 

The Syrian Qal’a introduced the program as part of his lecture at the current International Conference on Promoting Music Heritage in the Era of Globalization, which is taking place in Amman, Jordan. 

According to Qal’a, the program, which will soon be accessible to all on a yet-to-be-named internet address, the new program specializes in Arabic music. 

“The program contains 6000 keyword capability,” he explained. 

Qal’a also stated that it can conduct objective and constructive research on musical pieces, film, or ‘Tarb.’ 

He added that the program can also be used for scientific research as well as leisurely use, because of its user friendly programming. 

“It can also distinguish the vocal capabilities of any singer and the tunes of any song,” he added- Albawaba.com.
