Syrian President Bashar Al Assad discussed Wednesday with his Sudanese counterpart Omar Al Bashir the developments in the Middle East in a telephone conversation, reported the official Kuwait news agency (KUNA).
A source told the agency that “both leaders discussed Israel’s aggression against the Palestinians and the Mitchell report.”
They also discussed Israel’s threat to strike Syrian posts in Lebanon, he said.
Meanwhile, the source said that Al Assad thanked Al Bashir for canceling entry visa permits for Syrians to go to Sudan. The cancellation, which took effect last month, aimed at integration between Syria and Sudan by encouraging joint investments and trade exchange, said KUNA – Albawaba.com
