A delegation of Syrian businessmen and investors is scheduled to visit Yemen next month at the invitation of the local federation of chambers of commerce and industry, reported the weekly Yemen Times on Monday.
The director general of Yemen’s National Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Aden, Ahmed Hadi Salem, said that the delegates would talk with their Yemeni counterparts about a number of topics of mutual interest, including holding an exhibition for Syrian textile products in Yemen.
The delegation will also review developing trade and investment relations between the two countries.
Salem pointed out that during its stay in Sanaa, the delegation would be briefed on the investment opportunities in Yemen, and would also visit the container terminal of the country's free zone and a number of companies – Albawaba.com
