Syria’s Vice President Mohammed Zuhair Masharqa received on Sunday, Chairman of the Iranian Judicial Authority Ayatollah Sayed Mahmoud Hashimi Shahroudi and his accompanying delegation.
In the course of the meeting, the Iranian official stressed the growing bilateral relations of friendship and fraternity between the two countries.
He also underscored Iran’s support to Syria's struggle, under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad, to liberate the Golan and the entire occupied Arab territories, according to SANA news agency.
Masharqa, on his part, hailed Iran’s supportive stance to the Arab right. He also stressed that Syria, under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad, would continue to be committed to the national and pan-Arab principles.
Discussions during the meeting covered the standing bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern between Damascus and Tehran. (Albawaba.com)
