tala bay hosts the iraqi business council on site

Tala Bay, the first integrated resort and residential community in Jordan, hosted yesterday the Iraqi Business Council at the project's Beach Club and Marina, during the Council's visit to Aqaba where the first Iraqi Business Forum was held under the slogan "Aqaba, your gate to Iraq".
The visit to Tala Bay was commenced by presenting the integrated nature of the project and viewing its touristic value, followed by a lunch at the Beach Club attended by 55 of distinguished Iraqi investors and senior Aqaba officials.
"We are honored to host the Iraqi Business Council and showcase the achievements attained in the project which aims to significantly build on the distinctive touristic and investment atmosphere of Aqaba," said Mazen Homoud, General Manager for Jordan Projects for Tourism Development – the owning company of Tala Bay.
"Tala Bay binds the residential, touristic, and commercial aspects innovatively, and signifies the future vision of urban lifestyle through its creatively designed villas and apartments, clubs and entertainment facilities, services and commercial outlets, and more. We are optimistic regarding future cooperation with the Iraqi Council and look forward to build successes and strengthen bridges of mutual collaboration" Added Homoud.
The Council's visit to Tala Bay comes during the Iraqi Business Forum held in Aqaba in cooperation with Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC). The forum lasted for three days from June 30th, and was aimed to look into the best means to benefit from Aqaba’s conducive investment environment in rebuilding Iraq. Participants in the Forum included investors representing the fields of industry, commerce, agriculture, construction and services.
It is worth mentioning that Tala Bay consists of state of the art villas and apartments, prestigious five stars and four stars hotels with a total capacity of 1300 rooms, and more than 100 retail stores comprised of restaurants, cafés and other entertainment outlets that extend around the Marina, offering more than five thousand direct and indirect job opportunities.
