The Taliban militia will attack anyone who attacks Afghanistan and are ready to repel any aggression, Afghan Deputy Defense Minister Mollah Noor Aliotyuin told Al-Jazeera satellite TV on Tuesday.
"Whoever attacks us or helps any attack is our enemy and we will attack him," he warned on the Qatari Arabic-language channel.
The United States is assembling a huge arsenal in anticipation of an assault on Afghanistan for harboring Osama bin Laden, the prime suspect for the September 11 terror attacks on New York and Washington.
According to the Islamic militia's defense minister, Mullah Obaidullah, 300,000 Afghan men are being called to arms -- DOHA (AFP)
