Tameer unveiled “Madinat Al Majd” in Cityscape Dubai

Tameer Holding, the region’s leading real estate developer, has unveiled its prestigious project Madinat Al Majd, being developed in Jordan by Tameer International in Jordan, the affiliated to the UAE-based Tameer Holding. Property units of the leading of US $ 500 million projects were offered for public sale in the exhibition.
The launching ceremony was held at Tameer Holding’s pavilion, and attended by Mr. Omar Ayesh, President of the firm, who announced the official launch of the project, with the presence of real estate professionals, pressmen and interested audience. Also present were official representatives of Tameer Holding and Tameer International.

“Madinat Al Majd is not the only project to be unveiled by Tameer during Cityscape; however, it is the only development outside the UAE to be launched by Tameer during the event. Such a project requires extra attention as it is our initial development in the Jordan, and it is expected to boost the housing market in the country, upon completion”, Omar Ayesh, Tameer Holding’s President said.

“Tameer is proud to offer such a project that is aimed to provide different segments of society with housing solutions that cater to their diverse needs. This project is expected to be, upon completion, a landmark in Jordan's modern architecture scene and real estate development. It will set a benchmark in the concept of integrated property developments that target all income groups”, he added.

Mohammed Habib, General Manager of Tameer International, said: “It is the most eagerly anticipated project in Jordan. We are pleased with the quick moves achieved by the company, and with the transparency and credibility established between Tameer and Jordan investors”.

Madinat Al Majd, the first modern community to be designed and developed in Jordan according to Tameer's international standards, is expected to be a significant architectural landmark as it will offer state of the art designs and a number of amenities that exceed clients’ needs and observers’ expectations.

With its 18,500 residential units over an area of two million square meters, Madinat Al Majd is to be developed to provide a wide segment of the community with homes in a healthy environment that contains schools, hospitals, medical and community centers, play grounds, commercial units, offices, retail shops and shopping centers.
In addition to its capacity to accommodate more than 50,000 people, Madinat Al Majd is located on the main highway leading to Zarqa, some five kilometers from that city and 25 kilometers from Amman. The project is also close to all public services and governmental centers and both the Hashemite and Zarqa Private universities.
Madinat Al Majd embodies the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah to give every Jordanian family the opportunity to acquire adequate housing unit. Families will be able to own a house with natural lighting and a ventilation system in a city that enjoys ideal typography for the same monthly payment they used to pay for rent.
