Tanzanian police have seized 160 kilograms of marijuana, known locally as bhang, and arrested a woman, regional police commander Alfred Gewe said on Sunday.
Gewe told AFP that the police had stormed a house in the Mwananyamala area of the Tanzanian capital at around noon on Friday, following a tip off by a "good citizen."
"The police found bhang hidden in four parcels. It was a successful raid," Gewe said, without giving the value of the drug haul -- DAR ES SALAAM (AFP)
