Toymaker Mattel plans to release the latest in a series of dolls commemorating Elizabeth Taylor on Friday, reported CNN news onoline.
It features the Oscar-winning actress in a semi-sheer, sleeveless chiffon violet gown with a Swarovski crystal drop necklace.
Mattel already has two Taylor dolls based on movie roles she made famous. One depicts her in the role of Cleopatra, based on a 1963 movie of the same title, cloaked a golden gown and headdress. A second portrays her dressed as Kay Banks from the 1950 film Father of the Bride, with a satin and lace wedding gown and floor-length tulle veil.
Mattel's other Timeless Treasures series include Lucille Ball, Elvis Presley and Audrey Hepburn – Albawaba.com.
