ALBAWABA - The Iranian Revolutionary Guard's Quds Force commander in charge of Lebanon operations, Brigadier General Abbas Niloufarushan, was killed in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a neighborhood in southern Beirut, according to official confirmation from Tehran.
Niloufarushan, who was killed in the most recent Israeli attack, was described as "a guest of the Lebanese people" by Iranian Military Prosecutor General Ahmad Bourkhaghan.
Speaking earlier today, Israeli military spokesman Avichay Adraee said that during Friday's operation in Beirut's southern area, the attack had also "eliminated Hassan Nasrallah, Ali Karaki, and other key Hezbollah leaders". According to Adraee, the Israeli Defense Forces will "continue targeting those involved in or supporting terrorist acts against Israeli citizens."
Hassan Nasrallah, leader of Hezbollah, was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Friday, Sept. 27, in Beirut's southern suburb along with other leaders.
