ALBAWABA - 28 embassies were forced to close out of fear when Yahya Rahim Safavi, a military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, warned that Israeli embassies are no longer secure.

Safavi underlined the dire circumstances facing Israeli diplomatic missions while speaking at a ceremony honoring Iranian servicemen killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Iranian Consulate in Syria.

"The recent attack on our consulate and the tragic loss of our soldiers in Syria highlight the relentless aggression and illegal actions of the Zionist regime," Safavi said.

Safavi further charged that the US and some Western allies were involved in the ongoing horrors in occupied Palestine.

"The brave Iranian soldiers who perished in the consulate attack were pivotal figures in the Resistance movement, actively challenging the Zionist regime's oppression on multiple fronts," said Safavi.

He emphasized that there is a need for increased security and diplomatic alertness because Israel's embassies are currently the subject of unprecedented risk.
