terex pegson & powerscreen host dealer conference in uae,attracting 300 customers from around the world
With the United Arab Emirates booming construction market as backdrop, Terex Pegson and Powerscreen, leading manufacturers of mobile crushing and screening equipment, played host to more than 300 customers from around the globe at their World Dealer Conference, held in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, 2nd-5th December 2007. The conference itself was hosted in Dubai City, with a live demonstration held in Ras Al Khaimah.
Since crushing and screening of aggregate, sand and gravel to build roads and other infrastructure is so much in evidence in the UAE, Terex Pegson and Powerscreen deemed the UAE as the ideal venue to hold its dealer conference. In fact, the companies have tripled their sales there in the past year alone.
“We have a long-term commitment to the UAE market and see it as a stepping stone to the whole Middle East for our business,” said Damian Power, General Manager, Powerscreen.
In cooperation with its distributor, Genavco, the Terex companies demonstrated 18 machines at the Stevin Rock site in Fujairah, including the Terex® Pegson XR400, Powerscreen® Chieftain 1700, Terex ®Pegson XV350 and Powerscreen® H5163.
