Third Middle East Pool & Spa Exhibition to see 20 per cent growth
Germany, Italy, France, UK and Spain among new country pavilions for the April 2008 edition of the event
Reed Exhibitions, world’s leading organisers of conferences and exhibitions, has announced that the third edition of the Middle East Pool & Spa Exhibition that will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 14-16, 2008, will witness a 20 per cent growth compared to the previous edition.
With an impressive 90 per cent of repeat exhibitors and five new country pavilions, including Germany, UK, France, Spain and Italy, the 2008 edition of the event is also expected to see record visitor turnout, more than 5,100 visitors that turned up last year.
“The Middle East Pool & Spa Exhibition has been steadily growing in stature and popularity with each edition, and the 2008 event is set to be the biggest ever. Being the only specialised show in the region, the exhibition attracts leading exhibitors and visitors from all over the world,” said Nael G Atta alla, Show Manager, Reed Exhibitions.
“The major boom in the Middle East’s construction sector, especially in the UAE, has significantly boosted the demand for swimming pools, spas and related products. Moreover, the steadily increasing tourism potential of the region has resulted in the construction of world-class hotels, which in turn has amplified the demand for swimming pools and associated products," he added
With more than US$ 25 billion worth of trade in pools, spa, recreation centre equipment and accessories every year, the Middle East is one of the fastest growing markets in the world in this industry.
The third Middle East Pool & Spa Exhibition will showcase everything related to the industry, including, family pool, private pool, pool surrounding equipment, swimming pool equipment, anti slip system, pool pumping & installation, pool cleaning equipment & materials, changing room lockers, spa equipment, health centre facilities, hot tubes, steam rooms, sauna rooms, Turkish Hammam, Water Fountains, Swim Wear, and other related materials and services.
“Dubai has emerged as the ideal venue for this exhibition, more so because the World Swimming Championship will be held in the emirate in 2010. In line with this, Dubai Municipality will be assigning a team to visit the exhibition to enable them to gather all the required information that will help them in constructing the proposed Olympic swimming pool in Dubai,” added Nael G Ata alla.
A specialised industry seminar will also be held on the sidelines of the third Middle East Pool and Spa Exhibition, which will also see the presence of two international professional pool associations.
