At least three people were killed in a car bomb blast in Madrid early Monday which Spanish radio said was the work of the Basque separatist group ETAâ
The three dead were in a vehicle set alight by the blast at 09:10 a.m. (0810 GMT) in Madrid's northeast Arturo Soria district. Several other people were injured.
A fire brigade spokesman said four injured people had already been evacuated from the scene.
At least 30 other vehicles were damaged or set on fire by the explosion.
Three nearby buildings were severely damaged in the blast, witnesses said -- MADRID (AFP)
