Three Saudi soldiers were killed along with dozens of Yemeni rebels in overnight border clashes Friday, according to AP.
Yemeni rebels reportedly attacked border posts late Friday in the Najran province while Saudi troops backed by fighter jets retaliated, the kingdom’s Defense Ministry confirmed.
Saudi Arabia has led a coalition of Arab countries to conduct airstrikes across Yemen in recent weeks after fugitive president Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi was forced to flee the country.
