Times Square Center kicks off exciting calendar of events for DSS 2008
Magic shows, acrobatics, theatre performances and games to entertain children and parents during 60-day festival
Times Square Center (TSC) has recently kicked off its world-class performances and exciting events for the 11th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), in addition to attractive promotions for shoppers during the 60-day summer extravaganza.
TSC’s DSS 2008 activities kicked off with the Maske Show, a music extravaganza by a first-rate female trio from Australia. It was followed by the Junior Chefs Award from June 26 to July 02 wherein culinary experts across the region will showcase their finest creations through a contest that will be judged by Master Chefs from around the world. This event will also be highlighted by spectacular Ice Carving, Fruit and Vegetable Carving and a wide array of mouth-watering Food Display.

During DSS 2008, shoppers at TSC who spend AED 200 or more at any of the retail outlets get a raffle coupon that puts them in a weekly draw, where five winners walk away with AED 100,000 each.
In addition to the Maske Show and the Junior Chefs Award, TSC will feature various activities and performances for children and the whole family from 5:45pm to 9pm daily: kids magic show, theatre show, kids podium and kermes games, and workshops from June 25 to August 20; and acrobatic shows by the international performers, Zychenko family from June 25 to July 24 and Russian Bar from July 25 to August 20.
Times Square is a community and family oriented center, with strong electronics, toys, ladies fashion & accessories and home furnishing offerings, in addition to a multi-cuisine food court. TSC is located between the third and fourth interchange on Sheikh Zayed Road.
