Kids Eat Free” to headline TSC’s celebration of popular summer festival
Times Square Center (TSC), one of the newest community oriented shopping centers in Dubai, has unveiled a list of fun-filled activities, which it is hosting for the 12th edition of ‘Dubai Summer Surprises’. TSC’s celebration of the much-awaited festival, which kicked off on June 11 and runs until August 14, 2009 under the theme ‘Surprising Dubai’, will be headlined by events that are tailor-made for families, especially for children.
“On June 16, 2009 we are launching the “Kids Eat Free” campaign in TSC where children get a free meal for every adult meal purchased from any of the participating food outlets within Times Square Center if they dine between 5 p.m. until closing time. In addition, shoppers at TSC who spend AED 200 at any of the retail outlets can get a DSS Raffle Coupon that gives them a chance to be one of the five winners of AED 100,000 each on the nine weekly draws to be held during DSS,” said Pierre Issa, Director for Operations, Sharaf Industries.
During the first four weeks of DSS, Times Square Center will be hosting the ‘Summer Health Festival’ an event that aims to educate visitors about wholesome health and lifestyle in an entertaining ambience. The first two weeks will focus on the theme ‘Healthy Eating’, which will involve demonstrations of select recipes and healthy diet plans, on-the-spot cooking contest for parents and children as well as other health activities that will benefit the entire family, especially the children.
The succeeding two weeks will focus on ‘Physical Fitness’, with activities such as ‘gamathon’ for children, races, exercise demonstrations and family games, in addition to WII Nintendo kiosks lined up for visitors and participants.
“Moreover, the success of our DSS activities last year has motivated us to come up with a different but just as exciting concept for this year’s event, and we have chosen to steer the focus of the festivities to the important subject of health and lifestyle. As a fast growing family-oriented leisure center in Dubai, we are expecting many parents to appreciate the list of activities we have in store for them and their children to enjoy during DSS,” added Issa.
