Yasmin Hussein, a one-year-old girl from Saudi Arabia, is the first winner of the Al Ghurair City gold drawing promotion being run by the mall during the Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS), said Khaleej Times.
Yasmin's first prize, a kilo of gold, was collected on her behalf by her father, Hussain Ibrahim Al Khalidi.
Khalidi said that this was the biggest surprise his family had received since arriving in Dubai at the start of DSS. Together with his wife and two daughters they had been visiting several malls to enjoy the various DSS events.
"We are really thrilled to win this kilo of gold. We got 12 coupons at Al Ghurair City and the one on which we wrote Yasmin's name was the luckiest. We have still not decided what to do with this prize but one thing is for sure. It has encouraged us to come back to Dubai again," Al Khalidi told the paper - Albawaba.com
