Israeli troops shot dead a senior Hamas activists Saturday night in Nablus area, Palestinian sources said. The man, Mohammed Haj Ali, 39, was in a car which came under fire by Israeli soldiers.
Meanwhile, it was reported that two of the casualties in Friday’s bombing in Jerusalem were workers from China.
The suicide bomber was identified as Andaleeb Takataqah, a 20-year-old seamstress from Beit Fajar, a village located between Bethlehem and Hebron. Beit Fajar residents reported that Israeli soldiers arrested Takataqah's father and one of her four siblings before dawn Saturday.
Al Jazeera TV showed a video on which the young woman declared her intention to perpetrate an attack on behalf of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades.
"I've chosen to say with my body what Arabs leaders have failed to say," Andaleeb says, reading from a piece of paper. "My body is a barrel of gunpowder that burns the enemy." (Albawaba.com)
