Tozeur benefits from 10th Development Plan (2002-2006)

Thanks to the various projects carried out within the scope of the 10th Development Plan launched in 2002, the Tunisian town of Tozeur has seen a growth in the indicators of development. Inside the municipal zones, level of decontamination was decreased in 6 popular districts. La Presse reports that within the framework of the 10th Development projects, more than 1,000 households were connected to the network of electricity and 242 households in the rural areas and 770 households have benefited from the projects for the improvement of the potable water network. Apart from this, the number of phone subscribers reached to 53,000 people and the quality of mail service increased with the introduction of new services.
