Grand Hyatt Doha Expanding Qatar’s Portfolio of International Cuisine,’ says General Manager
Doha residents can now enjoy the culinary delights of the classic afternoon tea, providing an ideal way to spend time with family or friends, at the luxurious Al Maha Lounge at Grand Hyatt Doha. The lounge offers the classic tastes of England with a range of savory and sweet treats, and a wide selection of teas.
Served from 3 to 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays, the quintessentially English meal consists of three courses, featuring a selection of delectable freshly baked pastries, scones with fruit preserves and clotted cream, finger sandwiches, and a wide assortment of teas from around the world.
“Our portfolio of international cuisine spans Thai, Italian, Mediterranean and Australian, and we are sure that Doha’s residents will enjoy our latest addition to this list – the classic English afternoon tea” said Garry Friend, general manager of Grand Hyatt Doha.
The Al Maha lounge is located at the heart of the hotel, offering views of the sea through the hotel’s spectacular 17-metre high floor-to-ceiling glass window, providing a tranquil setting to enjoy afternoon tea.
The lounge is the most recent option in Grand Hyatt Doha dining collection, which also includes its four signature restaurants: The Grill, Isaan, Rocca, and Biscotti, each offering a unique blend of international cooking styles and flavours.
The hotel opened in March and features 249 guestrooms, a residential complex available for short-term rentals and located adjacent to the main hotel, as well as three outdoor swimming pools and a private beach.
