ALBAWABA - In a heartbreaking turn of events, another Palestinian journalist has become the target of an Israeli airstrike in Gaza. Muhammed Abu Hatab, a dedicated journalist, lost his life, along with 11 members of his family, during the recent attack.

It was his fellow journalist who delivered the devastating news, struggling to hold back tears as he shared the grim fate that had befallen his colleague.

The situation unfolded live on television, emphasizing the perilous conditions journalists face in the conflict zone. Despite the journalists being under what should have been protective measures, their lives continue to be endangered, with casualties mounting.

As tears welled in his eyes, the distraught colleague removed his helmet and the bulletproof vest emblazoned with the word "press," meant to safeguard him during his reporting. His emotions ran high, and the loss of his friend hit hard. Despite the challenging circumstances, the dedicated journalist carried on with his duty, all while unflinchingly expressing his feelings about the perilous situation that journalists face.

"We can't endure this any longer; we are drained," he stated. "We are the ones suddenly becoming victims, one after another. And yet, it seems that the extent of the disaster or the crimes occurring in Gaza often go unnoticed."

This tragic incident once again highlights the grave risks faced by journalists who are committed to conveying the reality of events on the ground. In Khan Yunis, Palestinian journalist Muhammed Abu Hatab lost his life, and 11 of his family members perished in the same attack.

"We are anxiously waiting for our turn, one by one," the colleague continued, his voice trembling. "Our dear colleague, Muhammed Abu Hatab, was with us just half an hour ago, and now he has left us by losing his life. His wife, son, and brother, along with other victims, are inside the hospital."
