Syria's Transport Minister Makram Obeid has stressed that intercepting the Lebanese fishing boats in the Syrian territorial waters is a legal measure.
In a statement to al-Baath Sunday, Obeid said, “The Lebanese fishing boats were intercepted because they didn’t have fishing permits and their case was transferred to the court to look into it."
